From Astoria on U.S. Highway 101, cross the Columbia River by the Astoria Bridge. Over the bridge, you’ll land in Washington, then head West through Chinook to reach Ilwaco.

From here, there are plenty of sites to explore, from lighthouses and trails at Cape Disappointment State Park to coastal towns like Long Beach, Ocean Park and Oysterville.
