- Trail’s End Art Association will look back on the year with a members’ show and holiday craft fair.
Gearhart hosts its art walk on the first Saturday of each month from 2 to 5 p.m. Wander through town to find studios, galleries and shops opening their latest exhibits.
Many of the town’s galleries also double as working studios, offering visitors the chance to meet artists and learn about their process.
Ebb-N-Flow Massage & Wellness, 3523 U.S. Highway 101
New to the art walk, this location will feature the art of lifelong local Karl Hauer, visiting between 2 and 5 p.m. Saturday.
Hauer’s work expresses the solace and inspiration he finds in the ocean and wildlife. By adding watercolors, he has found a creative catalyst and vital escape that allows him to mitigate the pressures of post-traumatic stress disorder through painting.
Snacks and refreshments will be served.
The Station, 3427 U.S. Highway 101
In December, this gallery located in a vintage filling station invites the community to a show featuring new works by local artists David Savinar and Janelle Baglien.
From 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, meet Savinar and experience his latest creations firsthand. Known for expressive and vibrant pieces, his work brings joy and inspiration — perfect for the holiday season.
The studio will also be featuring holiday art gifts under $50 that celebrate happiness and creativity, and offering information about Savinar’s art classes. Refreshments will be provided, and all are welcome to enjoy a holiday afternoon immersed in happy art.
Trail’s End Art Association, 656 A St.
This gallery will open a group show of its members’ art with a reception from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday.
For a second season, it will also host a Holiday Art & Craft Faire, offering handmade decor, fiber arts, stuffed dolls, bookmarks and other small art pieces. Hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
Trail’s End is the oldest nonprofit art association of its kind on the Oregon Coast. In addition to its monthly shows, the gallery offers holiday cards and other greeting cards, jewelry, pottery and prints.
Sales from the gift tree, filled with handmade holiday ornaments, will benefit a local food bank. The members’ show will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Dec. 29.
