ILWACO — Auditions have been announced for “Ripcord,” the latest production planned by the Peninsula Players.

Auditions will be 6 p.m. June 4 and June 5 at the River City Playhouse, 127 Lake St., in Ilwaco.

Director Ken Tobias, most recently seen as the level-headed professor in the spring musical “Disaster!” is looking for three men and three women to play the roles. The play features two women at a senior living facility who are subject to various comic pranks. The show will open Aug. 8 and run three weekends.

A casual gathering is planned 6 p.m. May 29 at the theater for people to learn more about the play.
