The annual maypole dance at the Netel Grange will be held noon to 4 p.m. May 3.

A full maypole with ribbons highlights the dancing. There will be flowers available to make a head garland.

Local musicians Ray Räihälä and Larry Moore of the Brownsmead Flats and Randy Weiss, a bluegrass specialist, will play at the family friendly event.

Children of all ages welcome. Dances will be taught and called by Dave Ambrose.

The event is free, but donations are accepted to recompense the musicians.
