HAMMOND — The Astoria High School Aquatic Biology Program Fishing Derby will take place 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 26 at Coffenbury Lake at Crossover Road in Hammond. Fifty tagged trout will be released in the lake, and any tagged fish caught will earn a prize. All $10 tickets will be sold and turned in at the derby stand on the north end of the lake by the parking lot. Proceeds go to the Eldon Korpela Scholarship for a student studying natural resources.
