ASTORIA — The Astoria Warrenton Crab, Seafood and Wine Festival runs April 25, 26 and 27 at the Clatsop County Fair and Expo. Because of parking issues at the fairgrounds, shuttles run regularly from downtown Astorian.

Events take place Friday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Tickets are available in advance at www.astoriacrabfest.com. Advance buyers enjoy discounted admission of $20 for Friday or Saturday and $10 on Sunday; online tickets for Friday or Saturday allow free admission on Sunday.

Seafood lovers will delight in chowder, Oregon Dungeness crab and shrimp cocktails, smoked oysters and razor clams, crab and shrimp melts. Drinks from more than 40 Oregon wineries, craft brewers, and local distillers will be served. Live music on two stages features the Brownsmead Flats, Bruce Thomas Smith, Carrie Cunningham, The Junebugs, Mbrascatu and Red Light Challenge.

The festival is produced by the Astoria-Warrenton Area Chamber of Commerce with help from many supporters including Fred Meyer and Toyota. Efforts depend on an army of volunteers.
