Blues master Terry Robb rolls through Nehalem

NEHALEM — Acoustic blues master Terry Robb performs at the North County Recreation District Performing Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 6. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Robb, who shares a double bill with the Ty Curtis Band, is touring on his latest album, “Confessin’ My Dues.”

For the album, Robb draws on his deep knowledge of Delta blues, ragtime and swing in 13 original compositions, ranging from blistering instrumental blues and stunning ragtime fingerpicking to soulful singing, backed by a powerhouse rhythm section. Renowned jazz musicians Gary Hobbs and Dave Captein are featured on drums and upright bass throughout the album, and blues guitarist Adam Scramstad makes a guest appearance on electric rhythm guitar.
