Peninsula concert to benefit Ilwaco crabbers

ILWACO, Wash. — A concert headlined by acoustic folk musician Joel Underwood will benefit crabbers affected by a recent fire at the former Ilwaco Landing site.

Underwood will play at 5 p.m. Saturday at the River City Playhouse. The concert is being organized by the Peninsula Arts Center and Peninsula Players.
The Seattle-based musician has played previous shows in Long Beach, including a recent tribute show, “That Ribbon of Highway: Woody Guthrie in the Pacific Northwest.”
Admission, which benefits the Ilwaco Tuna Club, is $25 for general seating, $50 for preferred and $100 for patrons. Bar proceeds will also be donated. Purchase tickets at www.facebook.com/peninsulaartscenter.
