ASTORIA — A program by storytelling coach Shay Knorr will feature “Grownup Stories for Grownups” at the Ten Fifteen Theater in two events at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

In her performances and workshops, Knorr looks at the purpose of storytelling as a means to understand and share information through history up to the present.

Knorr will also lead a series of two-hour workshops in personal storytelling at the theater beginning March 17, which will continue at 11 a.m. Sundays through April 21.

The focus will be on crafting a 10 to 12 minute personal story to be performed onstage for family and friends.

Admission is $20 for the Saturday and Sunday program and $150 for the workshop. Both events are intended for adults only. For more details, visit www.thetenfifteentheater.com.
