ASTORIA — The Ten Fifteen Theater is seeking proposals from directors for its 2025 season, themed “Family Matters.”

The theater is looking for plays that explore relationships between families, whether biological or chosen, and how those relationships evolve.

Proposals should include a title and synopsis, cast size, budget considerations, and a vision statement on why the play belongs at the theater and how it relates to the season theme.

Preference will be given to plays with six or fewer cast members. Directors should plan to take an active role in planning and promoting their play. Productions will have eight weeks from auditions to opening night and will run for nine performances over three weekends.

An application is available from the theater’s website. Directors looking to submit more than one show should fill out separate applications for each.
