Horse Feathers to play from album re-release at Liberty Theatre

- Selections from a re-release of the 2008 album “House With No Name” will be played by local band Horse Feathers.
ASTORIA — Indie folk band Horse Feathers will play with a regrouped string ensemble in support of a re-release of the 2008 album “House With No Name” at 7 p.m. Friday in the Liberty Theatre McTavish Room.

Singer-songwriter Justin Ringle will be joined by longtime violinist Nathan Crockett. Also playing will be Luke Ydstie, of The Hackles and Blind Pilot, on upright bass; Kati Claborn, of The Hackles and Blind Pilot, on banjo; and Halli Anderson, of River Whyless, on violin.
The group will play selections from the re-released album as well as acoustic favorites and recent releases.
