Muldaur to perform in Nehalem

NEHALEM – American roots vocalist Maria Muldaur will perform with her band, the “Red Hot Bluesiana,” at the North County Recreation District Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday at 7 p.m.
In her first performance on the North Coast, the six-time Grammy nominated “Midnight at the Oasis” artist will fuse jazz, Western swing, gospel and country blues for an electric exploration of roots music.
The concert will also feature an opening set from The Beefheart Boys, featuring Johnnie Ward and Bill Uhlig.
