SEASIDE — The First Saturday Art Walk will be held Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Historic Gilbert District between Broadway and Holladay in downtown Seaside.

TigerLily Gallery, 613 Broadway St.

Featuring Washington artist Don Dye’s creations of repousse’ art embossed in copper, hand-painted, matted and framed.

SunRose Gallery, 606 Broadway St.

Featuring new handcrafted Spirit Dolls by Jan Barber, felted sculpture by Robin Montero and new sand dollar acrylic collages by Mimi Cernyar Fox. Live music will be provided by David Crabtree and SunRose owner Ray Coffey. Light appetizers will be served.

Pacific Heirloom Art and Collectables, 608 Broadway St.

Featuring antique binnacles, which are housing for a ship’s compass. A binnacle counters the magnetic deviation caused by the iron vessel so that the compass can point to magnetic north. Metals used to construct binnacles were required to be non-ferrous (containing no iron), such as brass.

Fairweather House and Gallery, 612 Broadway St.

Opening reception for ‘The Sea Endures,’ an exhibition of Northwest artists’ new artwork depicting where the Oregon land meets the Pacific Ocean.

Featuring Toni Avery, Bill Baily, Karen Doyle, Colette Fallon, Linda Fenton-Mendenhall, Phil Juttelstad, JoAnn Pari-Mueller, Lee Munsell and Ron Nicolaides. Neal Maine, naturalist, biologist and photographer, will lecture about the coastal habitat at 6 p.m.

The Whet Spot, 12 N. Holladay Dr.

Seaside’s taproom featuring all the local Northwest named beers, wines, ciders, as well as an ever-changing gallery display of local abstract and whimsical art.

Starry Night Inn and Art Hotel, 811 1st Ave.

Each room in the hotel, including the lobby, dining room and halls, features original art and prints from a curated list of Portland artists.
