Gallery seeks art, schedules workshops

GEARHART — Registration is open for two July workshops hosted by Trail’s End Art Association at trailsendart.org. Artist work is also sought for an upcoming show.

The workshops will last three days each. Deborah Stenberg will host “Still Life with Traditional Pastels,” between July 12 to July 14. The class is designed for all levels.

Later in the month, Lynne Wintermute will host “Oil and Cold Wax Magic” from July 23 to July 25. The class is also open to all skill levels. Participants will finish six to eight paintings. Registration is also open for a more advanced course hosted by Wintermute, scheduled for September.

Art is sought by local artists for Trail’s End Art Association’s 70th annual judged show, scheduled for Aug. 6 to Aug. 29. Wet, dry, mixed media, photography and 3D art is welcome.

Art should be submitted at the gallery, 656 A Street, either between 3 to 5 p.m. on Aug. 1 or from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Aug. 2.
