Andy Combs and The Moth flutter into Astoria

Though Andy Combs has been writing, performing and recording music for nearly 10 years, he is a recent transplant to the Pacific Northwest. His two solo albums are an eclectic mixture of styles ranging from old-timey jazz, folk and blues to modern indie, ’80s and heavy rock. Combs self-produced these records and plays nearly 20 different instruments on each. He has entertained audiences from the Rocky Mountains to the West Coast, and now comes to Astoria at 9 p.m. Sunday, April 8, playing at Fort George Brewery and Public House, 1483 Duane St. There is no cover charge.
