Fort George Brewery hosts The Jimi Austin at 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28. There is no cover charge. The Jimi Austin has been hailed as “one of the best up-and-coming bands in Northern Colorado…” -Andy Blanton, 88.9 KRFC FM.

Diverse musical and geographic backgrounds have helped The Jimi Austin gel into something larger than the sum of its parts. The indie-rock foursome, from Fort Collins, Colo., formed in early 2005, and has since been developing the group’s sound and honing its live show. Taking an ultra-democratic approach, the band has developed a unique sound and an impressive live set. The Jimi Austin released its debut album, “east of Liam,” in November.
