Azar is best known for his songs “I Don’t Have to Be Me Til Monday” and “Waitin’ On Joe,” along with his recent “You Don’t Know A Thing” and “You’re My Life.” A seasoned entertainer who has been performing since he was a teenager, Azar has shared the stage with some of music’s best, including Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band, Amy Grant, Faith Hill, Hootie and the Blowfish, Carrie Underwood and more.
Azar recently released his fourth studio album, “Slide On Over Here,” on his own label, Ride Records. The collection is filled with all original material in his signature soulful and bluesy vocals, and taps into his softer side with some romantic ballads as well. The project’s lead single, “Moo La Moo,” co-written by Azar, is presently climbing the country singles charts and is a song about “too much month at the end of the money.” Azar says he hopes the song will lift people’s spirits during these tough economic times.
In promotion of his new CD, Azar will be headlining his own shows throughout the summer at various fairs and festivals across the country. For complete tour listings, visit www.steveazarlive.com
