Nestled in a lush green valley, the historic town of Nehalem sits on the edge of the Nehalem River. Incorporated as a town in 1899, Nehalem has retained its historic charm as well as its natural beauty. Downtown, many of the building facades are reminiscent of the store fronts seen in movies the Old West.
