CANNON BEACH — A children’s production of “Aesop’s Fables” will run for three performances at the Coaster Theatre Playhouse beginning at 7:30 p.m. Friday, with additional shows planned at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday.

The one-act play is being staged by kids between the ages of 7 and 15 through Coaster Theatre Kidz, a program that hosts several acting, singing and dancing camps throughout the year.

Six familiar fables will be weaved into the show, including “The Tortoise and the Hare,” “The North Wind and the Sun” and “The Boy Who Cried Wolf.”
