The band plays acoustic music that has been described as “crabgrass,” with a maritime spin on folk and bluegrass music. Its members are Ray Raihala, Larry Moore, Dan Sutherland, Ned Heavenrich and John Fenton.
Together they focus on vocal harmonies while playing a variety of instruments, including the hammered dulcimer, fiddle, banjo, harmonica and mandolin. Several of their original songs reflect life in the Pacific Northwest.
