Pink Martini alum brings ‘Holiday Ordeal’ to the Liberty

- Singer-songwriter, actress and author Storm Large is performing a holiday show 4 p.m. Sunday at the Liberty Theatre.
ASTORIA — Storm Large is bringing a “Holiday Ordeal” to the Liberty Theatre at 4 p.m. Sunday.
The Portland singer-songwriter, Pink Martini guest vocalist and reality TV contestant will perform a holiday set billed as “a night of music, gags and gifts.” The show will feature songs ranging from “2000 Miles,” “Hallelujah,” “Sock it to Me Santa” and “Somebody to Love.”
Large made her debut with Pink Martini in 2011, singing four concerts with the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
She continues to perform and tour with the band and has also shared the stage with k.d. lang, Kirill Gerstein, John Doe, Rufus Wainwright and George Clinton.
The “Holiday Ordeal” show is part of a tour, which also includes two dates in Portland on Friday and Saturday. Doors to the Liberty open at 3 p.m. Tickets are $37 to $57, for ages 18 and over, available at www.libertyastoria.org.
