Aspiring culinary arts students Ana Holen and Elli Rimell are serving hors d’oeuvres in the Liberty Theatre McTavish Room as part of a 4 p.m. Wednesday fundraiser.

ASTORIA — Ana Holen and Elli Rimell, two aspiring culinary arts students, will serve hors d’oeuvres for a 4 p.m. Wednesday fundraising event at the Liberty Theatre McTavish Room.

Holen and Rimell are holding the event as part of a senior project. Bites will be served with mocktails and paired with music from the Astoria High School Jazz Band.

The event is a fundraiser for a new Liberty Theatre scholarship through the Astoria Scholarship Foundation, and will highlight the theater’s new commercial kitchen.

Doors open at 3:30 p.m. Tickets cost $30 each and are limited to 250, available at the Liberty Theatre Box office or at www.libertyastoria.org.
