Crafted in Seaside, 530 Broadway

At this location, find handmade gifts by local artists and makers, and a creative studio that lets visitors turn photos or designs into puzzles.

Fairweather House and Gallery, 612 Broadway

This gallery is hosting a reception for “Survival Instinct,” an exhibit of work by watercolorist Jo Pomeroy-Crockett.

Archaeology has long been an inspiration for Pomeroy-Crockett’s work. Paleolithic paintings from Chauvet Cave in southern France fueled a desire to honor ancient artists by interpreting their work.

The gallery will also be introducing the work of Nancy Abens, a Portland artist who creates intaglios and lithographs.

“The forests, seascapes, flora and fauna never cease to inspire me,” Abens writes. “There is a beauty in those places that is sensual, mysterious, and spiritual in a most profound way. I am an avid birder and gardener. I find so much happiness in creating works around plants and birds.”

Jason Lambert will be at the gallery to offer live music.

Pacific Heirloom, 608 Broadway

Featuring Halloween blow molds — handcrafted decorations made from melted plastic — and other vintage seasonal decor. The mold is filled with liquid plastic, and air pressure is applied to shape the plastic into patterns.

TigerLily Gallery, 613 Broadway

Featuring the art of Lori O’Haver, a resident of the Pacific Northwest since childhood. Her love of our beautiful coastline inspires her to paint it.

O’Haver is mostly self-taught. She enjoys the freedom of painting on large canvases. Lori and her husband, John, currently reside in Ridgefield, Washington.

The Whet Spot, 12 Holladay Drive

This venue features abstract work by Seaside artist Kandy Schwartz, who uses vibrant acrylic paint to depict objects and awaken wonder about being at the beach.
