Symphony seeks to paint colors

ASTORIA — The Columbia River Symphony will present a concert at the Liberty Theatre in Astoria. The performance is at 7 p.m. April 26. Admission is free, although donations will be accepted.

The concert, titled “Elemental,” has the theme, “Evoking Colors and Emotion Through Music.” Each composition will be paired with visual effects and lighting projections designed to match the emotional energy of the music. 

Doors open at 6 p.m. Pre-concert music will feature the saxophone quartet Saxophones Well Done from Vancouver, Wash.
