Chorus plans four coastal concerts beginning at Seaside

CANNON BEACH — Dates are set for four spring concerts by the Cannon Beach Chorus.
The theme is “Dancing Through Life,” celebrating the journey through life’s ages with a variety of styles.
The program includes an Australian sea shanty, “Little Fishes Don’t Cry,” a piece called “Can You Hear Me?” featuring an American Sign Language translation, and “Lux Aeterna” from British composer Sir John Rutter’s 1985 “Requiem.”
Performances are:
7 p.m. April 25 at the Seaside United Methodist Church, 241 N. Holladay, Seaside;
3 p.m. April 27 at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 602 Laurel Ave., Tillamook;
7 p.m. May 2 at the Cannon Beach Community Church, 132 E. Jefferson, Cannon Beach;
3 p.m. May 4 at the Nehalem Bay United Methodist Church, 36050 10th St., Nehalem;
Tickets are $15 at the door. Students aged 16 and under are admitted free.
