An exhibit called “Robert Schlegel: A Sense of Place” features artworks from his studio created between 1972 and 2017. The exhibit at the White Bird Gallery, 251 N. Hemlock St., in Cannon Beach continues through April 28. 

Among pieces is “Two Dormer, an acrylic on panel from 2008. Copies of his book “A Sense of Place” are available and can be shipped. Details at whitebirdgallery.com.

Winter gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday and Monday, Tuesday by appointment.
