CANNON BEACH — Tribute performers will appear at the Coaster Theatre 3 p.m. April 27 to entertain in the guise of two of the most distinctive characters in show business in the second half of the 20th century. 

David Saffert, a classically trained pianist from Wisconsin, has performed with the Oregon Ballet Theatre, Portland Opera, Oregon Symphony, Portland Center Stage and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. At the Coaster Theatre, he will don sequins as Liberace.

Joining him will be Jillian Snow, who has tournd the country for 10 years performing as Liza Minnelli. Together they promise to perform “Cabaret,” “New York, New York,” “Over the Rainbow” and “The Man That Got Away,” plus covers of songs by Lady Gaga and Britney Spears.

The music is arranged by Bo Ayars, who worked for Liberace for 13 years and also worked with Elvis Presley and Barbra Streisand.
