ASTORIA —  Historians Lauri Serafin and Eric Wheeler will share about an 1892 brick warehouse, home to Pacifick Distillery at Fort George Brewery 7 p.m. April 17.

One of only 149 warehouses on the National Register of Historic Places, and first when listed alphabetically, the building at the foot of Fourth Street was initially known as the Astoria Wharf and Warehouse.

Speakers will highlight its use as a bonded warehouse and dig into the legacy of the Carruthers family, whose members constructed it.

The talk will take place in the Lovell Showroom as part of the Clatsop County Historical Society’s Thursday Night Talk series. Admission is free.
