See new work at the monthly Gearhart Art Walk, returning from 2 to 5 p.m. March 1 at studios, galleries and shops in town.

Many of the galleries that participate in this event double as the studios of local artists, giving visitors the chance to meet new faces and learn more about their creative processes.

Ebb-N-Flow Massage & Wellness, 3523 U.S. Highway 101

Enjoy watercolors by Karl Hauer, who paints pictures of our life near the sea. This location will be showing the newly finished “Esalen’s Iredale,” featuring the famed 1906 shipwreck at Fort Stevens State Park in addition to other selections. Art will be on sale and refreshments served.

Trail’s End Art Association, 656 A St.

This gallery will open a new show for March featuring seascapes and landscapes by six artists in many mediums capturing our beautiful coastal area.

Rayanne Edwards, a watercolorist, will join Michael Muldoon, a prolific landscape artist who works in several mediums and especially oils.

Rounding out the show are Linda Gebhart, with small seascapes in watercolor, Richard Newman, who offers captivating photography, Phyllis Taylor, who has brought work in acrylics, and Steven Bash, with photographs and collages.

There will be a reception for the artists on March 1, during the Gearhart Art Walk from 2 to 5 p.m. This show will be open Fridays through Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. through March 29.
