Casino night brings roaring ’20s back to Heritage Museum

ASTORIA — The “Black Door” to the Clatsop County Historical Society’s annual Roaring ’20s Speakeasy Casino Night opens at 6 p.m. Feb. 15 before a night of games and costumes at the Heritage Museum.

Games of blackjack, roulette, craps, and Texas Hold ‘em poker start at 6:30 p.m. Prizes will be given to the top chip holders and for the best 1920s costume.

Entry is $20 per individual or $30 per couple, with additional buy-ins of $30, $40 or $50 for the Texas Hold ‘em tournament.

The event’s presenting sponsor is Northwest Lending Group. Tables are sponsored by Arbor Care Tree Specialists, Bornstein Seafoods, Kent Easom and LJ Easom, Brett Estes and Eric Williams, Fultano’s of Astoria, Old Town Framing Co. and the Stemper family.
