ASTORIA — In January 1992, the Evergreen Ever Laurel, bound for Tacoma, Washington, lost a cargo of thousands of bath toys, which have since been tracked around the world in a journey that has taught scientists much about ocean currents.
Between Jan. 10 and Jan. 17, mark the moment by searching for a rubber duck within the confines of the Columbia River Maritime Museum, and receive a special sticker if you find it hidden within the galleries.
This is an all-day event. Museum hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. For more information, visit www.crmm.org.
