ILWACO, Wash. — Auditions are scheduled for 6 p.m. Jan. 7 and Jan. 8 at the River City Playhouse for the Peninsula Players’ spring musical “Disaster!”

The musical comedy pays homage to 1970s disaster movies and will be staged from March 28 to April 13. Those auditioning should prepare a short song and be prepared to dance and read from a script.

There are about 10 main adult roles and two for children, plus an ensemble. There may be callbacks on Jan. 9. Help is also needed with costumes, set building and props.
