Clatsop Animal Assistance volunteers celebrate a beer release at Fort George Brewery. The specialty brew, called “Pet of the Week,” featured 10 adoptable dogs and cats.

ASTORIA — Dress up your pet for a photo with Santa at Clatsop Animal Assistance’s annual holiday party and fundraiser, returning to the Fort George Lovell Showroom between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday.

The event will include a bake sale, raffle and silent auction, with proceeds benefiting dogs and cats at the Clatsop County Animal Shelter.

Clatsop Animal Assistance partners with the shelter to help homeless pets, funding veterinary care, spay and neuter fees and other items not covered by the shelter budget. For more information, go to www.clatsopanimalassistance.org.
