SEASIDE — On Saturday, the Seaside Museum & Historical Society will transform a Victorian cottage into a winter wonderland as it serves gingerbread, tea and other sweet treats for the holidays.
Gingerbread tea at the Butterfield Cottage on Necanicum Drive runs from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturdays through Dec. 20.
Guests will be served fresh gingerbread with whipped cream or a homemade gingerbread cookie alongside a hot drink: tea, hot chocolate or apple cider, while musician Jeff Blanche plays Christmas favorites.
Gingerbread houses and other donated items will also be raffled off at this volunteer-run event, where guests are encouraged to visit with one another and join in on singing Christmas carols.
Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 12 and under. No reservations are needed. For more information, visit www.seasidemuseum.org.
