NEHALEM — Portland trio Kate & The Crocodiles will play a concert at the North County Recreation District Performing Arts Center 7 p.m. Saturday.

The group performs an eclectic mix of indie rock originals and covers, jazz standards, reinventions of 1970s and ’80s rock ballads and classical art songs.

Its members are Kate Morrison, a classically-trained vocalist whose credits include recent performances with the group Pink Martini; Craig Bidondo, a keyboardist who has directed music for Portland’s Tapestry Theatre Co.; and Gavin Bondy, a Pink Martini trumpeter and founder of The Shanghai Woolies Dance Band, an eight-piece hot jazz and pop outfit.

Tickets are $26 online or $28 at the door. This is an all-ages show. To purchase tickets, visit www.ncrd.org.
