Learn tips about plant placement at the Flavel House Museum

ASTORIA — Linda Brim, local master gardener and longtime previous owner of Brim’s Farm & Garden, is teaching a class on how to choose the right plant for a given spot.

The free class is being offered at the Flavel House Museum in Astoria at 1 p.m. Sunday. Brim will share expertise drawn from many years of experience with plant placement, with considerations of soil, light and other environmental factors.
