Campers settle into a tent at Snow Peak Campfield Long Beach.

SEASIDE — More than 2,000 teams and 200 courts are returning to the sand for the Seaside Beach Volleyball Tournament, billed as “the largest beach volleyball tournament in North America.”

Tournament events begin at 9 a.m. Thursday with a junior players meeting and national anthem at the center court, followed by junior doubles pool play.

On Friday’s schedule, starting at 7:45 a.m., are adult doubles pool play, junior doubles bracket play and a parent and child doubles division.

Saturday’s events start at 8 a.m., with adult doubles bracket play, junior quads pool play and parent and child doubles bracket play. Wrapping up the weekend beginning at 8 a.m. Sunday are junior and adult quads.
