ASTORIA — Performathon, a 24-hour-long series of stage acts, is returning to the Ten Fifteen Theater beginning at 10:15 a.m. Saturday.
The annual event is being broken up into sections this year, with kid-centered performances between 10:15 a.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday, all-ages acts between 4 and 10 p.m., and adults-only acts through 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
“Anything Goes!” in the time block between 2:30 and 6:30 a.m. Sunday, and “Early Birds” round out the morning through 10:15 a.m. Sunday.
Actors, musicians, artists, magicians and other performers of all experience levels are invited to participate in the event, which is a fundraiser for the theater.
Because of high demand, registrations will not be online as in previous years. Those interested in performing should email the theater with a proposal and preferred time frames.
Lily Rose Coffee and Crepes will be serving food outside the event through 10 p.m. Saturday and beginning at 9 a.m. Sunday. For more event details, visit www.thetenfifteentheater.com.
