ASTORIA — The North Coast Chorale, based at the Charlene Larsen Center for the Performing Arts, is looking for singers to perform a repertoire of classical and popular music.

Singers would attend weekly rehearsals at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays in preparation for the group’s annual winter shows, including the Messiah Sing-Along/Play-Along, scheduled for Dec. 1, and concerts planned for Dec. 13 and Dec. 15.

Vincent Jones-Centeno, the group’s director, is also leading a “Messiah Boot Camp,” focused on the former show, through late July.

The chorale recently wrapped its latest performance season with a show at the Little Island Creamery in Cathlamet, Washington. Before that, it performed “The Macabre,” a concert of choral medleys, at the Larsen Center.

Auditions are not required to sing with the group. To get involved, contact Jones-Centeno at 773-392-8408 or visit www.northcoastchorale.org.
