Summer concert series at Cape Disappointment begins this week

ILWACO, Wash. — Portland folk musician Lindsay Clark opens the outdoor Waikiki Beach Concert Series at Cape Disappointment State Park at 7 p.m. Saturday.

Clark’s music combines traditional and English folk, country, and her own version of experimental folk.
The series lineup continues with singer-songwriter and violinist Chibia Ulinwa on June 22, “dream rock” musician Ezza Rose on July 13 and Afro-Cuban jazz and Brazilian samba from quintet Duende Libre on July 27.
Closing out the season will be composer Olivia Awbrey, whose songs explore themes in ecology, science, and relationships between humans and their environment, on Aug. 10, and Portland country western band Jenny Don’t and the Spurs on Aug. 24.
