NASELLE, Wash. — Local writer Nick Nikkila will lead a spring author series organized by the Appelo Archives Center at its Archives Cafe.

Nikkila will read at 1 p.m. Thursday. Other authors in the series are Hal Calbom and Debby Neely, both reading at 1 p.m. on May 16, and Robert Michael Pyle, at 1 p.m. on May 30.
