Kelley Shannon Stargazer, an Astoria vocalist, will perform with jazz pianist George Colligan during Jazz at the Loft.

ASTORIA — Two musicians will return to Uniontown this weekend for Jazz at the Loft, a 1 p.m. Sunday music showcase at The Loft at the Red Building.

The event will feature Astoria vocalist Kelley Shannon Stargazer performing with George Colligan, a multi-instrumentalist and educator based in Portland.

Shannon began singing in her teens with jazz sessions at The Pacific Rim, a former Astoria art gallery that was owned by her mother.

Colligan has released over 20 albums as a leading musician. His music ranges from show tunes to funk, to 20th-century classical pieces and free improvised sounds. He has performed at jazz festivals worldwide.
