ASTORIA — “What is funny, and how is funny made?”

That’s the question asked by local sketch comedy writers Bill Ham and Sam Dinkowitz in a workshop over two sessions at the Ten Fifteen Theater. The first two-hour block is set for 6 p.m. Wednesday, with another to follow on April 10.

“Bill & Sam’s Excellent Adventures in Sketch Comedy” is a workshop that will guide students through the mechanics of comedy and techniques for turning funny ideas into comedic scenes.

The cost for attending is $25. For more details, visit www.thetenfifteentheater.com.
