SEASIDE — “Expressions Beyond the Surface,” a collection of colored pencil drawings by local artist Cathy Stearns, will be displayed at the Seaside Public Library beginning Tuesday.

Stearns, who has participated in the Astoria Open Studios Tour and shown work at Astoria Visual Arts and in the Astoria Studio Collective, depicts movement, time and space within natural elements in her work.
