MEDFORD — Applications are now open for a summer artist residency program at the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument in southern Oregon.

The Bureau of Land Management will select one artist and one alternate for an annual Artist-in-Residence program lasting between one and two weeks in June. During the residency, artists will create and then share work through a public presentation, be it an image, object or performance.

After the residency, artists are asked to donate an original piece to which they will retain the rights. Artists working in all mediums are encouraged to apply. Submissions will be evaluated based on materials, a residency proposal, professionalism and creative vision.

To learn more and apply, visit https://bit.ly/CSNMart or email jduwe@blm.gov. Materials and sample artwork should be included in a single email. Detailed instructions are on the application form, the deadline to apply is Feb. 29.
