Ora Cogan's latest album, Formless, was released earlier this year.

ASTORIA — Singer-songwriter Ora Cogan will perform with special guest Mattress at Astoria’s Anita Building at 7 p.m. Saturday.

Raised by artists on the islands of Canada’s Pacific coast, where she now lives, Cogan’s musical approach was shaped by place and from influences such as Edith Piaf, Ladino and Rumbetico and Karen Dalton.

Her latest album, Formless, was released earlier this year, with psychedelic rock, country and folk influences.
