Guitarist and singer Lauren Sheehan will play a concert in Cannon Beach at 5 p.m. Aug. 15.

ASTORIA — Lauren Sheehan, an Americana roots guitarist and singer, will be joined by jazz pianist and accordionist Steve Cleveland for a 7:30 p.m. Saturday concert at KALA.

Sheehan mixes early blues, jazz and country roots music for a multi-instrumental performance. She teaches at Pacific University in Forest Grove, has released five albums and recently included on “Sweet Bitter Blues,” a compilation celebrating Piedmont blues musicians.

Cleveland, who once lived in Astoria, performs with an eclectic array of groups and is a pianist at West Portland United Methodist Church.
