High tea, tarot card readings offered at Van Dusen House

ASTORIA — High tea and local pastries will be paired with tarot card readings for a 1 p.m. Friday event at the historic Van Dusen House.

The event is part of Tea by the Sea, a series of pop-up tea parties in historic homes around the city.

At the event, author Marianne Monson will talk about the role of tea parlors in early feminism, while tarot card readings will be given by Stefanie Johnson and Trudy Van Dusen Čitović.
