The Oregon Symphonic Band will play a Veterans Day concert in Clatskanie on Sunday.

CLATSKANIE — The Oregon Symphonic Band will honor Veterans Day with a selection of patriotic music in a 3 p.m. Sunday concert at the Donavon Wooley Performing Arts Center, located inside the Clatskanie Middle and High School.

The show is presented by the Clatskanie Arts Commission as part of its 34th performing arts series.

Led by Michael Burche-Pesses, the band will perform “Battle Cry for Freedom”, “National Emblem,” “Armed Forces Medley” and other patriotic tunes.

Admission is free for veterans as well as for music students, teachers and children. General admission is $15 for adults and $13 for seniors, available at the door or at www.clatskaniearts.org.
