Seaside art for November: King tides, oil paintings

SEASIDE — Explore the historic Gilbert District during the Seaside Art Walk, a monthly event that offers the chance to stroll around town from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday with refreshments, prizes, music and art.

This location will offer handmade items from more than 30 local artists and makers during the event.

This gallery will host an opening reception for “Beyond,” an exhibition featuring original work in transcending themes by regional artists.
Highlighted will be king tide seascape oils by Ron Nicolaides, impasto abstracts by Tedd Chilless, wildlife photography by Bob Kroll, oil paintings by luminist Lee Munsell, mixed media works by Jan Rimerman and pastel works by Kathy Ensard.
Playing live music during the event will be Chelsea LaFey and Richard Thomasin. Prints by Neal Maine, a biologist and naturalist, will be offered as door prizes.
